Richard Ringer Marathon nutrition

Together with Richard, we have developed a specific nutrition concept.

INDIVIDUAL PARAMETERS

Adequate energy, electrolyte and fluid replacement, which should be individually determined, are crucial for performance during long periods of exercise.

COMPETITION CONCEPT

Richard relies on the COMPETITION sports drink, which is pH-neutral and optimally tolerated. This allows Richard to optimally absorb around 100 g of carbohydrates per hour. We also supplemented the sports drink with CAFFEINE CAPS and SALT CAPS, which had a physical and mental effect, especially in the second half.

ENERGY INTAKE DURING INTENSIVE AND LONG UNITS

The intention here is to train the gastrointestinal tract to a high energy intake and such a specific competition diet under stress. Another advantage of is that Richard recovered more quickly after hard sessions, grace to the attenuated energy deficit during exercise.

PRERACE SUPPLEMENT

Carboloading: Optimally filled energy stores ensure that Richard was able to set off on his legendary final sprint after 41 kilometres. Thanks to CARBO LOADER, he no longer has to consume huge amounts of solid food prior to the start.

Also indispensable for the competition: RED BEET VINITROX. The special beetroot juice extract ensures improved blood flow, increased oxygen transport and therefore improved performance.

OPTIMAL REGENERATION IN EVERYDAY LIFE

In addition to the supply of energy (carbohydrates), the intake of proteins to support muscle regeneration is particularly important.

At least 20 g of protein should be consumed directly after strenuous daily training. PRO RECOVERY has an extra high protein content and can be easily prepared with water.

SLEEP

The duration and quality of sleep are crucial when it comes to optimising recovery and adapting to training. Thanks to RELAX & RECOVER, a supplement based on natural ingredients, Richard was able to significantly improve his regeneration values and increase his well-being.
